Just a few simple home made fixes:
I discovered these simple home-made fixes in one of those flyers you get in the mailbox and you usually discard. This time I was curious.. it had a funny name, too many words for a fix-it book but I still kept reading. I could not believe the simple, home-made fixes you can do yourself in a pinch. And talking about saving money, it just saved me a bunch. I will share a few of some quick home-made fixes I discovered.
1. To sharpen dull scissors:
Get your aluminum foil out.
2. Time to dust, your out of polish:
A little of mayo and lemon juice will shine up any wood.
3. You are out of scrubbing bubbles or bathroom cleaner:
Run warm water in the bath till it covers the bottom of bathtub. Get your Listerine or any type of mouthwash, and mix a few capfuls of it with the water. It’s an excellent cleaner for the whole bathroom. Get your mop and rags and go to it.

About 2sassygal
First of all, I love to cook...not every night, but weekends are the best time to cook. I am a animal lover, especially wildlife. My next vacation would be to South Africa. To get personal and close up to wildlife would be fascinating. I like to read suspense, thriller novels. Regarding television....I like some reality shows, crime shows, comedies. I like to look at a recipe from a cookbook and do my version of it.. usually the healthier choice. I am all about substitutions, if a recipe calls for a ingredient there are dozens of ingredients you can substitute for the called-for ingredient. I like summer because I love cooking outdoors, swimming. It's just the fresh air that makes everyone want to get outside and do something. I love the air especially after the rain.... that nothing compares to that.
